What is NISM Series VIII certification?
NISM Series VIII is the Equity Derivatives Certification Examination conducted by the National Institute of Securities Markets. It is mandatory for approved users and sales personnel of trading members in the equity derivatives segment of a recognised stock exchange.
What is the passing score for NISM Series VIII?
You need 60% to pass. The paper carries 100 marks and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
How long is a NISM certification valid?
Most NISM certificates are valid for three years from the date you pass. To stay certified beyond that you either re-take the exam or complete the CPE programme for that module before it lapses.
How many questions are in the NISM Series VIII exam?
100 multiple-choice questions of one mark each, to be answered in two hours. Our full mocks run to the same length and timer, so exam day holds no surprises.
